Michael is a very alert step-son, and when he sees that his step-mother Rachel is home unexpectedly he's got a LOT of questions! She hadn't expected Michael to be home herself, and acts very cagey, dodging his inquiries and trying to turn it around on him. It doesn't work, and Michael is persistent.
